What Lixor stores on your device, and why.

The short version. Lixor uses the storage on your device that is needed to log you in, keep you logged in, remember your language and take payment. On the web we also run analytics that store a cookie and local data in your browser, and outside Europe we run the Meta Pixel. We do not show a cookie consent banner, and there is no switch in Lixor to turn analytics off. To object to analytics, write to support@lixor.ai.

Analytics on the web
We use PostHog (US cloud) to count visits and see which features are used. It stores a cookie and data in your browser's local storage (names beginning ph_), records clicks and form submissions on our pages, and, once you are logged in, links them to your account through your user ID and email address. It runs for everyone, including visitors in Europe, without asking first. There is no switch to turn it off in Lixor. To object, write to support@lixor.ai. You can also block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser. Session recording is on for the web app today.
Analytics and screen recordings in the mobile apps
The iPhone and Android apps use PostHog and record screens of your sessions so that we can find and fix problems. Text you type into fields is masked. Other text on screen (such as staff names and counts) and images are not masked. There is no setting to turn this off. To object, write to support@lixor.ai.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, it sends us a technical report through Sentry. We remove your email address, username and IP address from the report before it is sent.
Advertising: the Meta Pixel
Outside Europe, the Meta Pixel loads on every page of lixor.ai, including pages inside the logged-in Lixor web app. It sends Meta your IP address, details of your browser, the address of the page you are on, and one event of ours when you click a start-free-trial button. Meta may also set cookies such as _fbp (90 days). It does not load for visitors we place in Europe (the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the rest of geographic Europe), judged from the country of your IP address; if we cannot tell where you are, it does not load. It is not in the mobile apps.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop login from working.
