Every bottle you say can be heard back, and when Lixor is not sure, it asks instead of guessing. Voice inventory is only worth it if you can trust the count, so the new Lixor checks its own work.
Counting by Voice Is Only Worth It If You Can Trust It
Most bars still count with a clipboard, a pen, and a day set aside once everything is closed. Counting by voice should be faster, but only if the numbers are right. A count you have to double-check bottle by bottle is no faster than paper.
That is the idea behind this release: walk your bar, say what you see, and let Lixor tell you when something needs a second look.
What Is New
It asks when it is not sure
When a name is close, Lixor asks "Did you mean Grand Marnier?" and you answer out loud. When two bottles fit, you say first or second. Nothing is saved on a guess.
Hear exactly what you said
On the review screen, tap Hear it on any line to replay your own words before you save.
Lixor remembers what your team calls each bottle
Say a name Lixor is not sure of, pick the bottle once in the review, and next time that name counts it.
Say your shelf in order, once
Say your shelf in order, then check it. Lixor walks the shelf with you in that order from then on. See every new feature on the what's new page.
A new listening engine on Android
Android phones get a new listening engine for voice counting.
Voice counting in seven languages
Count in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.
Also new
- Deliveries with product photos. Bottles you receive come in with their photos.
- Move or copy bottles. Select bottles and move or copy them to another area in a few taps.
- Made for the iPad too. A wider layout shows more of your bar, in portrait or landscape.
How It Works
- Start a voice count. Open an area and start counting. Put your phone in your pocket.
- Say what you see. Walk the shelf and call out each bottle the way your bar says it, with how full it is.
- Review and save. At the end, check any line Lixor asked about, replay it with Hear it, and save.

Common Questions
How do I count a bottle that is partly full?
Say the bottle and how full it is, like "Tito's, point six." For whole bottles, say "two bottles."
What if Lixor is not sure which bottle I said?
It offers its best guess, "Did you mean...?", or asks you to say first or second when two bottles fit. If it does not catch a name it asks you to say it again once, and anything it could not place waits for you at the finish.
Does Lixor work without internet?
Yes. Lixor counts offline and syncs when your phone has a signal again. Open the area once with a connection first, so the bottle list is saved on your phone.
Can my team count at the same time?
Yes. Several people can take a team inventory together on their phones, and managers can review live on the web. If two people call the same bottle, Lixor asks whether to add, replace, or skip it, so nobody overwrites a teammate by accident.
